Island Brac, Croatia

Mirca is a quiet and tranquil place located only 3 km west from Supetar, on north of Island Brac. Though the name Mirca is derived from the Latin noun murus (wall), nowadays people more often say it is derived from Croatian noun mir (peace).

It’s an ideal place for family vacation because of its shallow pebble stone beaches, suitable even for small children and well preserved nature. Moreover, one of the liveliest places on Brac, Supetar, is within a walking distance, and it’s a nice walk underneath the pine trees by the sea.
